Danger Threatens Sea-tac Airport

Wash. - What happened to the water port of Sea Tac? Apparently, Incoming flights at Sea-Tac Airport were delayed as much as four hours Monday as the ice runway. This occurred after a cargo plane slid off an icy Sea-Tac Airport runway Monday afternoon. And the airport did not want to take risks with it.

The China Airlines 747 from Taipei is toward Sea-Tac through John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. He landed at around 04:45, the airport was concerned about the safety of passenger aircraft.

According to the airport, the plane was about 100 yards past the designated marker landing. By definition the airport, which means it is the runway, although technically still on the sidewalk.

The plane went into the cargo hangar own power. No one was hurt.
A Florida congressman has urged the Sea-Tac and other airports to hire private contractors to replace the TSA security screeners. This is because there have been several similar incidents associated with this incident.

Congressman John Mica of Florida has sent a letter to 100 of the nation's busiest airport, urging them to choose a private contractor for the Transportation Security Administration. Because, by hiring outside contractors, the risk of accidents is much smaller.

But until this moment, the airport has not been willing to take a decision that was significantly associated with occurrence of the plane crash.
The lesson learned, be careful to go by plane, because the risk above no one can control except the management of the aircraft. Learning from the experience of Sea-Tac Airport, may we all be protected from the danger of aircraft accidents.
