NEW CAR FUEL 2011 - coconut husk! - MUST KNOW

Bali-reportage - from the United States automobile company, Ford, and Scotts Miracle-Gro, are conducting research using coconut coir fiber or alternative energy for cars.

As written on page Automotiveworld.com, Friday 7 Otober 2011, the research goal is to reduce the use of plastics and petroleum. In addition to environmentally friendly raw materials are very inexpensive and powerful in the long term. It's incredible!

The researchers used coconut fiber instead of synthetic polyester fibers in the form of a mixture of recycled composites. Good again, the fuel readily available and not least with the energy of the earth.

Currently, Ford is testing the properties of the material to ensure durability passes all tests, including examining whether the material is resistant to fire. Hopefully what resistant and strong.

Later material is used for wrapping head rest, cable wrap, as well as some interior parts such as doortrim, ceiling, wrapping up a chair for raw materials dashboard. Bias even be used as heat-resistant wrap or something.

"We are constantly looking for innovative renewable technologies that can reduce our dependence on petroleum and improve fuel economy," said Ford's Plastics Technical Expert, Dr. Ellen Lee. And that's the way it should, we need to find alternative energy to be free from dependence on fuels of the earth.
