Kita bisa terhindar dari cetik jika kita memiliki iman yang kuat. Kita harus yakin bahwa diri kita dilindungi Tuhan dan usahakan kondisi pikiran sedang tidak dalam keadaan kosong atau stres.

·         ada juga yang menaburkan sedikit makanan / minuman ke tanah (maksudnya jika makanan/minuman yang terkena cetik akan hilang kekuatannya jika sudah menyentuh tanah), cara ini sangat efektif dan terbukti berhasil selama ini.

·         berdoa kepada yang kuasa agar diberi keselamatan dari kejahatan sihir

·         ngejot (menghaturkan sesaji) ke sanggah / pura atau ke ibu pertiwi

·         waspada terhadap situasi dan kondisi yang ada

Leak adalah suatu ilmu sihir kuno yang diwariskan oleh leluhur Hindu di Bali yang tercatat pada kitab kuno Bali.  Leak berasal dari kata “liya dan ak” yang berarti lima aksara. Dengan mampu mengolah kelima aksara tersebut dalam pintu panca indra di dalam tubuh, maka orang tersebut akan mudah mencapai moksa (alam nirwana atau alam di atas surga).
