Delaware Election Results

Delaware Election Results-Conservative party activists and Christine O'Donnell's favorite tea was very disappointed with their defeat of veteran U.S. Rep. Michael Castle of Delaware Republican Senate primary Tuesday. This is a surprising victory of the State party.
O'Donnell made the victory a great new spirit to create a movement tea party after a victory by Republican candidates in Alaska and the Senate tea Nevada primaries. That is another major victory of the former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin, who supported O'Donnell last week.

With all regions reporting around, O'Donnell had 53 percent to 47 percent for the Castle, a two-term governor and former congressman who served longest in the history of Delaware.

O'Donnell supporters who gathered at an Elks Lodge in Dover erupted in cheers and dancing after learning his victory. O'Donnell took the early lead as vote results came in and never let go of it, pushing some support for creating floor-sweeping motion while chanting, "Sweep them 'out!"

"We work hard to be here," said O'Donnell. "I can not thank you for the Delaware Community has spoken:. No more politics as usual! I can not thank you, because you have partnered with me, believe me from the start, stand with me in the face of adversity."

O'Donnell also thanked for his support of Palin.
"He sat in the back of our war-weary people and gave us the encouragement of encouragement when we need it," he said. "He is the voice of the political personal destruction."

Castle supporters at the party elections in Wilmington stood transfixed as rolled back, but erupted into cheers when he took the stage for a brief speech.
"The voters in the Republican primaries have spoken, and I respect that decision," he said.
That's the political world, there's always winning and losing. Whatever the decision and outcome, should we as good citizens must accept, because this is the best.
