Muammar Gaddafi confirmed dead from a gunshot wound. This was conveyed by a doctor who is involved in the autopsy on the body of the former Libyan leader.
"He died of gunshot wounds. It is clear," the doctor told news agency Reuters, Sunday, October 23, 2011. Unfortunately the doctors did not give detailed information about the wounds that look neat tempak at Gaddafi left temple.
An autopsy performed on Saturday night in a morgue in the city of Misrata, about 200 km east of Tripoli. Local officials said Gaddafi's body will be taken to an old market in Misrata for public viewing.
Leader who has been in power 42 years died in his hometown of Sirte on Thursday. Gaddafi death a mystery, whether shot or shot.
